Community Involvement
While Starlight is focused on philanthropic work for Children's Hospitals, we participate in many service activities throughout the community!

Activity Bags
Activity bags are our way to provide the children at Texas Children's and other hospitals with toys, puzzles, and lots of joy! We put them together during meetings and then bring them to distribute during visits!
CAMP FOR ALL
Our members volunteer at this unique, barrier-free camp, working to enrich the lives of children and adults of all ages with challenging illnesses, diseases, or disabilities.

HOSPITAL VISITS
Throughout the semester, Starlight members can sign up to go to the Texas Children's Hospital to spend some time with the kiddos! We often bring them activity bag or help with events, such as the Teddy Bear Clinic!
BALLARD HOUSE
The Ballard House is a living community that provides temporary housing for individuals and their families who are hospitalized or receiving treatment for a serious medical condition.

TEXAS CHARGERS RETREAT
The annual Texas Chargers Retreat supports families touched by CHARGE syndrome, allowing them to connect with one another. Our members spend the day participating and volunteering at the retreat.
