STORY HOURS

Story hours is an opportunity for our members to travel to various hospitals - such as Texas Children's, Shriners, MD Anderson, and McLane - and read stories, perform skits, play games, or do crafts with the children.

CRAFTS FOR THE HOSPITALS

Throughout the semester, Starlight members meet to make crafts such as blankets, gift baskets, and games to donate to the hospitals. This includes Jared Boxes, which are care packages filled with toys other gifts for the kids!

BALLARD HOUSE

The Ballard House is a living community that provides temporary housing for individuals and their families who are hospitalized or receiving treatment for a serious medical condition.

TEXAS CHARGERS RETREAT

The annual Texas Chargers Retreat supports families touched by CHARGE syndrome, allowing them to connect with one another. Our members spend the day participating and volunteering at the retreat.
